Experience While many tutoring businesses don’t require their tutors to have teaching certificates or classroom experience, I have more than 30 years of teaching and tutoring experience with students in grades pre-K through 12, college, and graduate school.

Individualization Group sessions don’t allow each student to receive personalized attention. Tutoring centers typically assign one tutor to assist several students who are working on different assignments. I work with one student at a time and make sure that he/she is actively learning.
